Many individuals spend a lot of time in their kitchens whether it is cooking, entertaining, or just having dinner with the family.Because this is one of the most used rooms in the house it can get considerably cluttered with stuff that doesn’t necessarily have to be there or at least if it does it can be more organized.Everything from dishes to pots and pans to foods and spices to appliances to mail can often be found in the kitchen and in many cases there is hardly enough room to store it all while still keeping the appearance of an orderly space. What we really want though is to be able to feel comfortable in our surroundings and be able to find what we need when we need it.The great thing is there are many simple ways to make your kitchen clutter free that do not take a lot of work or a lot of money. In some cases you will not even have to buy anything to get things in order but may have everything you need right in your very own kitchen. Here are just a few ways to get organized and get clutter free easily.

Get rid of unused items in your kitchen. This may seem like an obvious solution but yet many of us have all sorts of things in our kitchens that either do not belong or do not get used.Getting rid of such things is the first step towards an organized kitchen space that is clutter free.

Combine like items in containers that make sense.Storing items that are like in size or like in variety will not only help you to keep track of such things but will also keep you from tearing everything apart looking for a specific item in the wrong place.Putting these items in containers that make sense for the shape and size for the items will further your organization even more by giving you more space.Extra space always helps with organization and the appearance of being uncluttered.Add shelves and make room for baskets. Many times our kitchens are cluttered because we do not have enough storage space at all.Adding shelving to hold certain items and putting baskets wherever you can find room for them to hold certain things will greatly reduce kitchen clutter and make it easier to find things as well.

Label containers so that your family knows exactly where to put things. Whether you used white tape or invest in a label maker adding these to containers will definitely help to keep things where they are supposed to be.Leave the labels facing outward so that everybody can easily see them for best results.Once everybody knows where to put things you will not have to reorganize all the time.

Organization when you have a family can be a difficult task but if you just follow a few guidelines to keep everybody on track you can be clutter free and organized easily.
